Higher Secondary Section – Std. 11 & 12

Our Higher Secondary section begins with outstanding academics and is wrapped with support, counseling, choices, community, and online tools to help teens identify their goals, chart their own paths, and enjoy their journeys.

The Higher Secondary Programme that is used by RPS teachers is based on GSEB Framework with a curriculum of SCIENCE & COMMERCE for 2nd public examination that is HSC.

Science Stream

In Science Stream we ensure that all students understand how science influences their lives and to enable them to use their knowledge of science and its methods in future problem-solving and decision-making. Through formal instruction, class discussion, and laboratory investigation, we seek to cultivate a lifelong curiosity about the world.

Throughout the courses, we stress observation, critical analysis, and experimental design. We employ and advance our students skills extensively in mathematics, writing, and computer use.

General Stream

The syllabus is in accordance with GSEB guidelines. The school offers Commerce and Arts in General stream in classes XI and XII. After careful career counselling, aptitude tests and appropriate C.G.P.A in class X various combinations of subjects are offered to students to enable them to pursue a career of their choice later in life.

Students are prepared regularly for GSEB exams by concentrating on the prescribed GSEB syllabus, assignment booklets and monitoring programmes. Opportunities are provided at every level to the students for the exercise of their reflective powers, artistic abilities and practical work.

• Students are encouraged to develop the scientific temper and the skills for research oriented work.
• Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are the compulsory Science subjects taught according to the syllabus of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
• Formalization of concepts is undertaken with greater emphasis on oral, written and computing skills along with introduction to process skills. Awareness of the environment, role of pupils therein, are emphasized.
• Each topic of Physics, Chemistry and Biology is demonstrated by the experiments in well-equipped laboratories.
• Each subject is taught by the well qualified, experienced teachers.
• Teaching is undertaken through various projects, workshops, etc. and the students are trained to integrate knowledge in the classroom with its applications in their own lives and the society at large. Tests and examinations are held intermittently to help them excel on Board standards.
• Our teachers prepare the students to write the Board examinations systematically to enable them to score good marks.
• Our school library gives the students to read the library books to enrich their knowledge, and prepare the term papers, assignment works, charts etc.
• Specialization is the key aspect wherein pupils choose areas of study. Attempts are made at developing the student's awareness of his / her own interests and adequate guidance is provided to help the students to grow up as socially responsible citizens.
